Another dose of my follies …

Maybe, just maybe, some of the people in the Democratic Party are waking up to the fact that Hillary Clinton just may not be a very good candidate for president ... in fact might be seriously flawed

And the number of e-mails just keeps growing and growing ... One really wonders why anyone would want Hillary Clinton as president ... but the liberal left progressives still seem in the tank for her.

Royal Dutch Shell Oil gets permit to drill in Arctic. After 8 years and $7 billion spent with at least another couple years of exploratory drilling and then another 10 years of development work ... costing untold billions ... and then maybe, just maybe, Shell will be able to start getting a return on their efforts.

The two women West Pointers apparently have made the grade through Ranger School. Of course now, there will be all sorts of political pressure from progressives to have them assigned to the 75th Ranger Regiment, regardless of whether or not officers of their rank are needed in the regiment.

The irony of this report - coming as it does from Talking Point Memo, the progressives story sharing site - is too delicious to miss.

A soldier's death in the Ukraine ... given a personal view by an embed reporter who knew him. What cease fire?

If you didn't see this coming ... then you were not looking. Military chaplains are a rare breed, and the best of the best, in my humble opinion ... and not just to ask, but to compel them to violate their religious consciences is beyond the pale in my book ... but it will happen, to the detriment of us all.

OUCH! But then sometimes the truth hurts. This sign is priceless ... and I don't care what you say

A long time ago, I was told by sage people that China would change communism and communism could not change China ... and it looks that is coming to pass, with China's ancient ways coming back.

What is the saying about believing what people say they will do and that their actions speak louder than words. I amazes me that the Left actually buys into this crap in order to be chic

Another reason for humanity to die ... I just wonder if these researchers are willing to be the first to die, or is that left to be some other less fortunate person. Personally I could give a rat's derriere if humans killed the last megafauna.

Unfortunately, these researchers just don't get it ... the military family gets little support because the military, by and large, is beneath the radar of the civilian world and what they don't see, they don't care about.

Until the Supremes rule on this issue definitively, then it will be subject to debate

Just what Detroit needs, a runaway tiger roaming the town. Well, they are the Detroit Tigers, aren't they.

Stories like this coming out of Iran do very little to engender much trust in the Nuclear Deal. But then, maybe something got lost in translation .... but I doubt it.

Two points for the York terrier ... all 10 pounds of him ... now that is audacity attacking a 200 pound bear

This story bothers me a lot. Drones are all well and good, but we should not be sending them into some of the places we are ... unless we are willing to have other countries start sending them into our skies
