Interesting stuff today … people are acting really strange out there. I hope you find these interesting and enlightening.

First the Chinese, now the Russians ... ok, really folks, this is nothing to get our dander up over ... they are in international water doing what U.S. Navy ships do around the world.

For those who forget: Even peacekeeping duty has its dangers ... particularly in the Middle East.

Hey, the Department of Justice is doing something right, for a change. This is a good call ... now if all federal agencies abide by it ... it will be an improvement.

Gee, those non-existent WMDs/Chemical Weapons in Iraq are forcing our guys over there to get their MOPP suits and gas masks out again.

A knee-jerk reaction by a landlord to a successful defensive gun use is a bit sad. Especially, since the gun owner had been victimized so many times before.

Accentuate the positive and ignore the negative.

And then there is the negative view ... just to balance things out.

Another call for a bigger navy

Could Hillary cause a civil war? Interesting concept, but the point about the rule of law floundering in the US is valid.

Which is the point being made by Sen. Cruz ... if the county clerk in Kentucky - Ms. Davis - is in jail for failing to follow the law (which she did refused to do citing conflict with her conscience) then why are not a host of other government officials not in the hoosegow, up to and including our president? Is this the prosecutorial discretion we keep hearing about?

This is a hoot ... and I don't know if any self-respecting Muslim terrorist would be caught dead (pun intended) with this weapon.

This is one view of the fate of Ms. Kim Davis ... I don't agree, but it is troubling as it seems to have spread from bakers to photographers to public officials ... it makes one wonder if there is not some war on faith and conscience

In case you didn't know: 6 states have official state firearms ... how cool is that? I want a M1911 for my own ... do I have to move to Utah?

Interesting observations by Alfonzo Rachel on Kanye West's presidential bid

More on the malfeasance and misdemeanors of Hillary Clinton

This does not surprise me ... I could tell you a story about the Chairman of the History  Department back in the mid-1970s at Kansas State ... but I won't

This commentary should be required reading for just about everybody ... especially about those who are having a conniption fit about the travails of the Syrian and other Middle Eastern and African refugees flooding into Europe ... and coming soon to the US

A very valid point here ... unfortunately, it goes back to how the rule of law is being threatened every day by the left and progressives ... and we always thought it was just those evil conservatives who were the ones with the totalitarian bent.

Paul Greenberg has an interesting column on who are the peacemakers and who are the warmongers ... or to put it another way: Who are those who ensure the peace and who are those who pave the way to wars?

Ain't this the truth. Don't like the statistics? Redefine the categories. The Labor Department has been doing this for years.

What a tangled web of geopolitics the Syrian-ISIS war is becoming. Does anyone have a scorecard so I can figure out who the good guys are and who the bad guys are?

It will be interesting to watch how President Obama repairs things with the Saudis after sticking them in the eye with the Iran Nuclear Deal.

I love it when the president makes pronouncements like this ... considering that actually Congress has the final say.

Another tripwire installed on Europe's eastern front.

There is much truth to this article ... but I doubt the progressives in power are listening

I guess this sort of ranks up there with the latest Dale Brown or Tom Clancy or Brad Thor novel ... but done by the Chinese government ... but then again, maybe it is just an elaborate trailer for some video game China is selling to its kids.

I see some Congressional Democrats are still trying to sweep things under the rug ... drag it out long enough and then claim it is all partisan.

For all his other failings, Donald Trump actually is getting people engaged in talking about issues that probably need to be talked about ... even if it isn't politically correct to do so.

Personally, I think this Egyptian billionaire should get his island and be given free rein to do what he says he wants to do.

Folks ... this crap has got to stop ... and it has to be people of color - all colors: black, tan, yellow, red and white - who have to stand up and make that happen.

And if anyone finds this surprising ... well, you just don’t understand human nature.

Bernie Sanders says all the new jobs are lousy ... which, of course, really is quite wrong ... but then again ... since government really doesn't "create" jobs in our economy, I would like to hear his plan to get the private sector to create more high paying jobs.

The market continues its gyrations ... and the wild ride continues ... only it is old news now
