Well, the world continues to spin … and so does politics and the news … sharing various viewpoints today … so you can make your own evaluation.

And the debate goes on about "global warming" ... remember there are lies, damn lies and statistical analyses ... I found that one of the experts cited is a cognitive psychologist rather interesting ... Call me a skeptic ... but I really, really do think the data set all this computer modeling is being done on is far to small and far too unreliable to put out accurate forecasts over significant periods of time. All the rest is just justification for one political solution or another.

Another story saying the climate has started warming again. To wit I say: Could be, but the data you are relying on really is only like 45 years deep, which in the greater scheme of things really is not even a blip. And even if it is, it seems rather speculative to believe that we can attribute it to just one variable ... when there seem to be an infinite number of variables and many of which we do not even begin to understand to consider - yet, in our hubris, we want literally to destroy the human economy and sentence people to die.

More focusing on the single variable theory ... which can be viewed from different points as either good or bad. But we get to blame the oil companies for being evil in this story.

And then there is this retired expert who says it all is a bunch of bunk ...

Another story that relies on a limited data set ... "on record" in this case means maybe going back 70 years ... anything before that is anecdotal and interpretational and therefore of questionable reliability

And then there is this counterpoint ... the question then becomes: Which data points do you believe? Which scientists? Which experts?

And yet another view on the debate on climate change ... take your pick

Coming just before today's election in Greece ... you have this forecast - like a weather forecast - about the elections coming up in Europe.

And it seems the ruling party in Greece will win the most seats in Parliament ... but no where near a majority ... which means a coalition government will have to be formed ... with all that is fraught with.

And here is the Beebe's take on the political contest shaping up in our northern neighbor, Canada, who will hold national elections about a month from now ... wouldn't know it from the coverage down here though.

Sec. of State John Kerry says the US will up admissions of "refugees" from 75,000 per year to 100,000 per year over the next two years. I don't think he is counting the illegal immigrants from South of the border as refugees ... although that is the main justification I hear for their migration to the US ... I don't see why they shouldn't count against that total.

And while we get hammered on immigration in the US, it is interesting to point out statistics like this ... sometimes I think people expect too much of the US

Interesting story about the diversity among teachers in urban areas ... raises a lot of questions in my mind.

This is what to expect this next week as the Pope comes to the US ... unprecedented security operations ... which sort of begs the question: Who ends up footing the bill for this little soiree?

Here is a poke at the pontiff's poke at air-conditioning being symptomatic of evil things ... but the pope may have a point ... before air-conditioning became available, the politicians basically fled Washington DC from about June until September because it was too dang hot ... maybe we should pull the plug on AC in government buildings during those months ... probably would cause a lot less damage to the country

This is a terribly politically incorrect commentary ... which doesn't take away a bit from the fact that it is very true and very valid observation.

Unfortunately, another very politically incorrect yet very valid observation and point about our President ...

This story illustrates why soldiers down the line do not trust the current crop of perfumed princes at the Pentagon (As Col. David Hackworth once labeled them) ... it is hard to trust people when you doubt they have your back ... and the current leadership in the Pentagon and at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. do not - in my humble opinion - have the back of the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines who serve them as valiant and gallant warriors.

I am sorry, but it is really hard for me to get all that worked up about this story ... not that I am not sorry that the staffer was killed in an accident ... but ... well, I will leave it at that.

It seems the Egyptian billionaire has found an island for his Mid-East refugee center ... I hope the Greeks give their approval and the UN cooperates.

This review of Japan's defense policy makes sense ... as long as the American hold up their end of the bargain.

I am just glad it wasn't a white boyfriend who walked into this church

This tempest in a teapot will be converted into a mountain out of molehill in the politically correct media feeding frenzies that seem to have already overtaken us (and it isn't even 2016 yet). The point he was making he wouldn't vote for someone, and would hope no one would ever vote for someone, whose belief structure is antithetical to the principles and values that the US was founded on.

And once again, Native Americans get the back of the hand from this Democratic Administration

OK ... this is a bit much ... I like Star Wars and its franchise ... but this is a bit over the top

But then again, Star Wars weapons seem to be coming to the skies near you really soon ... and apparently already are at sea ... with a land-based variant also in the prototype stage

I will not hold my breath ... but I am hoping that this happens on the timeline projected ... but then that already is a two-year delay

I knew it all along ... I think I always have felt like a Giant Panda ... its only recently that I began to feel more like a big old walrus

And on the sports front ... this is neat ... go Panthers (another Kitty team)

As I said ... Dr. Carson's comment is offending the left ... but his point is not addressed: 1st - Islam is more than a religion ... it also is a political and social construct. 2. That political ideology and social system as outlined in Sharia law and the Koran really are not compatible with Judeo-Christian-Anglo-Greco-Roman values that are the principles and foundations of the American system So, it really doesn't make sense to put someone in charge - like Sanders - whose political belief structure really is at odds with the concepts that have built the nation ... much less someone who religious faith is totally at odds with it.
